Changzhou Kaida Roll Co. LTD, established in 1952, started roll productions in 1978, is a member of China Metallurgy and Roll Council. For all the years past this company has been specialized in producing cast iron rolls and cast steel rolls and has accumulated plenty experiences for production of various kinds of rolls. With the current 500 staffs and workers, more than 100 of them are engineers and technicians. The company occupies 56000 square meters and the build-up area is 12000 square meters. The melting equipment includes a 10 t Arc-Furnace, and several Induction furnaces with 1t, 3t, 8t and 20t x 2 capacity; more than 30 heat treatment furnaces; moulding sand treatment equipment 3 sets; horizontal spinning machines 4 sets; more than 200 CNC and Heavy Machining lathes; the furnaces temperature control and heat treatment monitor are equipped with auto-control systems. At present we have two factories for roll productions. The old factory is concentrating on the small and medium size products with an annual output of 15000 tons. The new factory first phase is aiming at an annual output of 30000 tons of large-scale rolls. We have a total annual capacity of 30000-35000 tons for variety of products.

We have advanced process equipment and complete inspection instrument. The whole production status is monitored by ET system. Our products with Kaida brand are favored by more than 50 iron & steel enterprises in China, 30% of our products have been exported overseas to 30 countries. For the past decade or more, our company has been honored with many titles, such as Provincial and City Star Enterprise, Civilized Unit, Scientific Research-Oriented Factory, Enterprise with Good Reputation on Contract, AAA level Credit Enterprise. Our alloy chilled cast-iron rolls have been appraised by Ministry of Metallurgy of China and Jiangsu Provinces as high quality products. We have been granted with the Quality Certificate of ISO9001：2000 and the Environmental Certificate of ISO14001:1996.

We have a strong technical team with the roll making experts from home and abroad, dedicating in new product development. Recent years products such as pearlitic iron, bainitic ductile iron, profiled iron rolls, K-Metal sleeves, Hi-Cr cold iron rolls, NCC rolls and alloy cast steel, alloy semi-steel, GT Adamite, graphite semi-steel rolls, Hi-Carbon GT sleeves, worked very well with the modern mills for Rod and wire, medium strip, H-bean steel and medium-large steels. Each technical parameter is qualified with roll standards. Some of the index has achieved World’s leading level and have won high reputation from domestic and foreign users.
